MEET KRISTEN
Hi, I’m Kristen Obermeyer - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, weight management specialist, proud Scottsdale wife and girl mom of four. I created the S|M Summer Refresh to be exactly what I’ve needed (and couldn’t always find): a realistic, flexible approach to wellness that fits into a demanding schedule and real routine.
After over a decade of helping patients and clients reach their goals, I’ve learned this truth: we are only as good as our systems. That’s why this guide is rooted in simplicity, structure and the power of planning. Blending the calm soul of Sunday with the active spirit of Monday, it’s designed to help you reset your metabolism, energy and mood - with intention, not overwhelm.
As a working mom, I understand how easily we put ourselves last. This guide is your permission slip to come back to center. With high protein, no fuss meals and a simple weekly flow, my hope is that you’ll find not just results—but relief. Something that finally feels good and works with your life, not against it.
You deserve a plan that works as hard as you do. Let’s do this together - calm, confident and fully refreshed. I’m thrilled you’re here.

Season 1 of motherhood was an unexpected, beautifully messy time. Kaela arrived early with NICU needs, a broken heart and an angelic disposition. She snapped me right into adulthood and softened my edges all at once. Momhood was survival and not a lot of strategy in the beginning. Wellness for me back then was egg whites and kickboxing classes at a gym with a kids club. Self-care was Nip Tuck over Black Box wine (don’t judge, you know you got into some box wine in your early twenties too). During this season, I relied on my instincts and leaned on my first-born conditioning. Being a big sister is a lot like being a mom, only you can’t just hand the kids over to a grownup when you feel like playing with your friends instead.

Having Kaela, then Kendall, Harlow and now Hunter has taught me endless things, but one in particular is the value of strategy and routine. Being intentional with my time by having a thoughtful plan has helped me become a grounded, confident and fully present mom. What I discovered with Kaela was that she thrived on routines that felt familiar and fun. The same holds true today with all 4 of my girls. As a family, we find our rhythm in everyday rituals.

Food is a beautiful entry point for engaging with our personal wellness. Focusing inward on our health is sometimes a lonely journey, but nutrition is unique in that it can be shared. My hope is that in designing this strategy for a more grounded and elevated food experience, you’ll feel a deeper connection to your loved ones, yourself & your everyday life.
